Add value to your home by creating "Curb Appeal"

Money Magazine conducted a study and the results
showed that landscaping offers an excellent return
on investment. In a listing of home improvements to
add value to your home, landscaping ranks at the top.

American Society of Landscape Architects conducted
a study in conjunction with Money Magazine. They found that you can expect to get 100% to 200% of your investment back.  You can’t get that rate of return at the bank!  They recommend putting 10% of your home’s value into a landscaping plan.

Homes with attractive landscaping on the average will sell more quickly than comparable homes with average or out of date landscaping according to
Clemson University.  99% of The Society of Real Estate Appraisers agree.

The front yard is the place most people tackle first.
It's the first thing you see when you come home,
and it's the first thing other's see when they visit.

If you think it might be more than you can do yourself, hire a professional.  It will save you time, and they will teach you how to take care of the landscaping.  That will save money in the long run.

Keep it simple, make sure the landscaping complements the house and doesn't overshadow it.

Do you want your landscaping to be more formal?  Or warm and welcoming?  You can landscape to blend in naturally with your yard, or whatever theme you might choose.

A study done by the U.S. Forest Service found that
just trees alone can add 3 to 7% to the value of a home.

Proper planning is the key to success when you landscape your front yard.  Organizing your idea will ensure you have a well designed landscape.

Redoing the front yard landscaping on this older home has increased it's curb appeal.

If you are having trouble organizing your ideas, head to your local landscaping company.  Many times they will help you with a design at no cost.

Try some lighting to enhance your landscaping at night and provide an element of security as well.

Trees and shrubs are the starting point, a so called backbone, for your landscaping.
